Task 1c: Audio Visual

This is only the second time I have personally posted a video to YouTube (once for an audition) although I watch videos on YouTube on almost a daily basis. I encountered a few problems with uploading from my laptop and so I was saved by the wonder that is my smart phone. I also learned two new skills (through the magic of google), how to embed my video into the post and also to change the link so that it doesn't just come up with the website address.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one to do several takes of the video. Eventually I had to stop myself and just be happy with what I had. I could have been there all night. I tried to keep to the 45 seconds suggested and keep to the point. I know from experience that people can switch off very quickly when viewing videos online.

I look forward to seeing where this journey takes me and if my ideas and goals change throughout the process.

    Thanks Lisa - well said and dream of a theatre school sounds like a very noble goal alongside your other professional work.

    Thanks Paula - It's something I have always toyed with in thinking about my future. It seemed like too big of a project for me, but now seems achievable. I am learning a lot from the theatre school I work for at the moment. We will see ! :)

    I like how you have embedded the photo into your blog, Lisa. It makes it more visually stimulating and you don't have the hassle of having to follow the link. I will try and do this in my own blog, as I am working on this task now.

    I thought your video was very clear and I hope you are able to realise your dreams. Thanks for an interesting watch.
