Last night I had my last BAPP group skype chat!!
On the call were; Adesola, Lara (M3), Jodie (M3) and Jess (M2).
We talked about the artefact and the process of editing your written work. A few points that stuck out for me.
Artefact
-It's your idea that you can build on - it's your interpretation.
Editing
-Use quotes to back up what you are saying, not to say things for you.
- You can't have everything in there, need to know what is relevant.
The main thing that I found helpful about the call was being able to talk to others. I have worked hard over the past week on my artefact and on my draft. It was great to actually talk about it. As Adesola said it's a good test to see if what you have done is clear in your own head. You need to be able to talk clearly to others about what you have done and they should be able to understand you!
We also said that this would help with the oral presentation - as we will have to explain our inquiry clearly to our audience.
